At Solley's Collision, we work with all insurance companies including National and Local. The following diagram is an example of the steps on filing a claim and getting your car repairs covered.

The Repair Process

Drop off car

Prepare the estimate and submit it to the insurance company

Prepare insurance authorization and/or owner authorization

Parts ordered electronically

Ordered part were received and checked

Vehicle set for repairs, with an anticipated completion date provided

Vehicle disassembled and re-inspected

Supplementary damage report prepared and authorized if required

Additional parts will be ordered if needed

The vehicle will undergo structural and body repairs

New parts are carefully trial fitted and checked

Corrosion protection will be reapplied after painting, depending on the type of job, and prior to refitting

All panel work completed, followed by a quality inspection

The customer will get notified

The vehicle will be prepped, primed, and sanded

The vehicle will be masked and taped

17

The vehicle will be chemically cleaned and tacked

18

The vehicle will be refinished in a clean temperature-controlled spray booth

Quality check takes place

The vehicle will be reassembled and any sublet works will be carried out

The vehicle will undergo detailing, test drive, and final quality check

Confirmed delivery date given
